We had a fantastic stopover for 3 nights in Brunei, 2 full days there, as we arrived midday one day and flew out 220am one morning.
We were very lucky with the weather, as they have had some flooding. We had fine days, with only a trickle of rain if anything. We stayed at the very plush Empire Resort. Very very nice. The staff are all lovely and inviting, always friendly and would do anything if you asked, not that we did ask for much, but I am sure they would. I thought it was definately worth it for relaxation. We also had a tour from Ms Nature which was a highlight.
I would recommend Brunei to people for a short stop, the people of Brunei all seem very genuine and nice people.
