Does anyone know if it is possible to rent a car in Brunei and drop it off in Miri?

We arranged a car through Hertz in Brunei with a driver...who dropped us off in Miri. That was the easiest and quickest one way transport. I don%26#39;t think any rental places would do one way.

Yes...Hertz provided the driver to us as they did not do one-way rentals to self-drivers. You will need to contact the local Hertz agency to get all the details and costs, but it was a very good service. The driver picked us up and drove to Miri Airport, with some good commentary and local knowledge on the way, without being too much like a tour guide. I think it was around $40 or $50 (Brunei) per person for a minimum of 2 or 3. It was a year or so ago, but we found it the best way to get there...especially if more than one travelling.
