Renting a car in Brunei

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be in Brunei for about 4 days in the beginning of November. Staying at Empire Hotel. Should I rent a car? From the US, so not that used to driving on the wrong side of the road :). How is driving in general in Brunei. What about car rental companies? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

For a duration of 4-days, you should rent a car to drive around. I have seen plenty of Americans driving on the road of Brunei. I presume there should not be any problem for you.

As for car rental companies, there is no advance booking required. November is normally a ';low-month'; for the car rental industry. You can take your time to flip through the yellow pages of the local telephone directory. The rental rate for an ordinary sedan is on or around B$75.00 to B$80.00.
