living in Brunei

my family and i will be relocating to brunei come this July. We will be bringing our 2 gilrs, a 5 yr old and a baby. any ideas on where we could rent a serviced apartment with a pool, somewhere in Jerudong? or somewhere near the theme park/university of brunei?

living in Brunei

We recently finished a two-year stint in Brunei. Unfortunately, the idea of serviced apartments has not really taken off there. The university is a little remote from everything and the once-grand theme park is now virtually a ghost town. There are quite a few complexes of (excessively) large houses, grouped around a pool or common area -- but these are often rented by organisations en masse and can be a little claustrophic. One central serviced apartment is D%26#39;Anggerek Apartments. There is a cafe that serves good food. You could take a suit3e there for a month or so while you checked permanent housing out. Check their internet site www.danggerek.com and you can get much lower rates than they advertise online if you asked directly for long-term. A final choice may depend at which school your girl attends (probably JIS or ISB).
