BSB to Miri by bus

Has anyone recently taken a bus from BSB to Miri? how long does it take and where does the bus leave from?

Strangely (perhaps not for Brunei!) there is no direct bus from BSB to Miri. There should be. There are no longer even any flights. Options are to hire a car/driver...or take a bus to Kuala Belait and then a wait and then another bus across the border. I am told there is a daily unofficial bus...but do not know any contact details. The easiest way would be to hitch with a kind driver who will take you there in a couple of hours.

Thanks for your help. We have decided to book our own driver who will take us (3 adults, 2 children)for $120BN in about 2.5 hours.
