Transfers

We are a family of four, two audults and two teenagers and have been offered a transfer to the Empire Country club of NZ$50.00 per person which seems extremely high - is it cheaper to get a taxi at the airport. Also accommodation at the empire do they have any family rooms.

Vicki%26amp;George,

Taxis in Brunei are considered pricey. I%26#39;ve asked some of my mates here and they say that going from the airport to the Empire Hotel might be around B$30-50 per one way trip.

The Empire Country club don%26#39;t have family rooms, but they do have connecting rooms.

Thanks for that. I guess we are better off then to get a taxi and pay $50 each way instead of $200 as the travel agent has quoted. Will book accommodation direct with the hotel and ask for interconnecting rooms, might even ask about transfers by the hotel. We are only in Brunei for 24 hours, are there any suggestions that we must visit. The boys are 16 and 12.

Can you tell us what you arriving time and departure time before I can suggest some itenary you can do? But do bear in mind that Empire is far from most attraction. Beside in Empire, they have lots of activity you can do.

As for the transfer, I might be able to assist you if you required as I do can find you some private service transfer cheaper than the taxi. Please feel free to drop me a message.
