You should not need any currency on flight...as meals provided on Royal Brunei. And nothing to buy much in terms of duty free, as RBA is an alcohol-free airline. Shops at Brunei airport accept any currency, but Brunei dollar is same as Singapore and can be used interchangably. You can change money at Brunei airport - usually very good exchange rate
